Make a schedule that runs when players join or leave

Restart, back up or update on a timer, or when something happens on the server, without writing cron.

Updated 29 October 2026

Schedules do jobs for you: restart every night, back up before a restart, update the game, or run a command.

A schedule on a timer

  1. Open your server in the panel and go to Schedules.
  2. Create a schedule. Simple mode is the default: pick a job and how often from the lists.
  3. For a restart, you can warn players in-game a few minutes before.
  4. Save.

The jobs are restart, backup, backup then restart, run a command, and update the game (for games the panel checks for updates). Force Restart kills the server if it hangs while stopping.

A schedule that runs when something happens

Instead of a time, choose when it runs:

  • the server starts or stops
  • the first player joins, or the last player leaves
  • any player joins or leaves

In a command, {player} is the player who joined or left. For example say Welcome back, {player}!

Only when the server is empty (or not)

Any schedule can be set to run only when nobody is online, or only when somebody is. A nightly restart that waits for an empty server never kicks anyone.

Triggers and player conditions only work on games that report their players.
