Yes. Nobody has ever paid for a server here, and nobody pays now. There are no tiers, no adverts, no card details and no Patreon.
Read the two short cards on the sign-up page, sign in with Discord and join the Discord when it asks. We give you the Server Hosting role and set up your panel account, then you request a server on the panel. It takes about ten minutes.
You don't pick it up yourself: the sign-up page gives it to you once you have joined the Discord. The panel checks for it every time you log in, so if you lose the role, you lose the server.
Brand-new Discord accounts have to age a little first. It stops people who were banned from coming straight back on a fresh account.
Yes, the same way as everyone else. Old servers are gone, so it is a fresh start. Accounts banned for a serious breach of the rules cannot come back.
Yes. You get full file access in the panel and over SFTP, and you can download a backup whenever you like. There are step-by-step guides for the common games.
Yes. Add them as sub-users and they can use the console and the files without your login. A sub-user does not get a server of their own.
Yes, natively. The panel only runs Linux servers out of the box, so we wrote a Windows agent for it. Those games run on real Windows, through the same panel.
For as long as people play on it. If nobody joins for 7 days it is deleted to free the slot, and it stays online for that whole week.
No. It is one server per person and one per project. A bigger community that really needs more can ask in the Discord first, and anything extra goes on the same account. The full rule
No. A project gets one server however many people run it. Proxy networks, hubs, same-named servers and dev copies all count. We keep the live one and suspend the rest.
No. Alt accounts, borrowed accounts and someone requesting a server for you all count the same. Every account you own gets banned and every server deleted, with no warning.
Yes. Leave it or lose the Server Hosting role and your server is deleted straight away.
Every server is scanned for malware. A flagged server is suspended straight away and then checked. If the flag was wrong, the suspension is lifted. If it was right, the account goes.
No. It is a homelab, so it goes down now and then for updates, power cuts or broken parts, sometimes without warning. There is no guaranteed fix time.
Only for connection problems on our side. If nobody can reach your server because of our network or hardware, post in the Help forum in the Discord and we will fix it. If the problem is your internet, router, PC, mods or settings, you will need to sort it yourself. The full rule
In the UK. Players in the UK and nearby get good ping. The further away you are, the more lag you will see. There are no other locations.
A few milliseconds. Traffic comes in through a filtering network, so an attack on one server cannot knock everything offline.
There are no plans to stop, but it is a hobby and nothing is guaranteed. Keep your own backups.
Nothing matches that. Try another word, or ask in the Discord.
