Get your BeamMP auth key

A BeamMP server starts and immediately stops without an auth key. How to get one from BeamMP and add it to your server.

Updated 11 October 2026

BeamMP servers need a key from BeamMP themselves. Without one the server starts and immediately stops. If yours is doing that, this is almost certainly why.

  1. Go to keymaster.beammp.com and sign in with your BeamMP account.
  2. Create a new key. It asks for a server name and a player count; you can change both later.
  3. Copy the key.
  4. In the panel, open the Startup tab and paste it into the auth key field if there is one.
  5. If there isn't, open ServerConfig.toml in Files and set AuthKey = "your-key" instead.
  6. Start the server. The console should say it authenticated within a few seconds.
